Well, I managed to get what I wanted: this week, I'll be able to produce three sessions for Back the Log Off!, as opposed to the usual two. Granted, the day I had before I actually did that final GoWII stream was a nightmare, so I'd like to think that maybe giving me this win was the universe's way of "balancing the ledger". Either way, I should definitely be able to make a lot of progress this time around.

And considering how much time I wasted on those sidequest monsters, having an extra day is most appreciated. Like, seriously, that sewer monster was such a pain in the ass to fight. Even with my "ideal" team set-up, constantly stacking speed and mobility downs made it practically impossible to get any attacks in at times. I don't know why I assumed that I'd have a much easier time with it, merely by trading out poor Tita for Olivier. But I did eventually overcome that adversity. By contrast, beating the monster that was literally impeding my story progress was significantly easier after bringing Olivier back on board. Still feels kind of bad to abandon Tita like that, though. Hopefully I'll get more opportunities to balance out the cast's levels down the line.

I'm glad that we got to see Renne again so soon, especially since I know that she's apparently a fairly major character for the remainder of the trilogy. I just kind of wish there was a way we could've actually found her during that game of hide-and-seek... especially considering the fact that I absolutely knew exactly where she was hiding. But hey, gotta give the kid her victory. I probably wouldn't have been so bitter, if the game hadn't seemed to imply that we actually could've found her somehow.

After that, we got another party shake-up. This time, Scherazard and Tita are off doing their own things, while my girl Estelle is working alongside Kloe, Olivier and Zin. Ironically enough, this is pretty close to the party I wanted to toy around with in the first place, though admittedly, I might've considered swapping Tita for Olivier, just to help grind some levels for her. I even found another sidequest to do in the meantime. I'm thinking the next time Bleublanc takes the stage, I'll aim for more of a French accent the next time he shows up on screen. I'm just worried it'll end up bleeding together with the various other characters I gave similar accents to. After all, I only considered giving Tita a German accent after I did something similar with Fransizka in AAI2... and having additional major young female characters meant that the voice I had given her in FC was very much at risk of becoming generic.
