Welcome back to the wild, wacky and oh-so-violent world of Bayonetta! The sequel that almost wasn’t! But Nintendo stepped in and co-developed this follow-up to Platinum’s famous action title. With Bayonetta joining Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in likely less than a month now, let’s get right into it and cover Bayo 2 already! Before it’s too late!

Just as before, this isn’t meant to be a flawless run or anything. I plan on being as thorough as possible with coverage and I’ll certainly play as well as I can, but if I don’t get Pure Platinum on every stage, I’m not gonna cry about it.

Now, a little known fact about the title screen here: characters other than Bayonetta will do the title call! The original game had this too, but you always got the same creepy “Bayonetta!” call every time you loaded it up, and had to repeatedly back in and back out to hear other characters call. As for who we heard here at first…that’s for ME to know and you to find out!

I messed up with Bayo 1 and didn’t realize there’s an Attract Mode with the game, but I made sure to show off Bayo 2’s…which is really just one of the trailers they showed off at E3. I mean, its cool and all…just not what I expected? Things certainly look dicey, an ominous figure assaulting Bayonetta, summoning Cardinal Virtues to sic on her?! And what’s with that kid in the hoodie? STAY TUNED!

Just sit back, relax and let Bayo do all the work. That’s….totally innocent, right? Right!
