IMPORTANT TO NOTE: My original recording for Chapter 2 had some problems, such as delayed audio among other things, so I've gone back and replayed the chapter. Sadly, the game autosaves so...certain things that SHOULD be there are not there. Where appropriate, I will try to fix things.

Here's Luka! With a cool cowboy hat and nerd glasses! Sure they let him see into Purgatorio, but I don't think they're the best look for him, honestly.

Nice to see him on friendly terms with Bayonetta at least. She even calls him Luka back! And tries on his hat (that looks GOOD on her, don'tchathink?!) Seems Luka has some talent at journalism after all! All these Notes we're going to be collecting are from him, after all.

We've got a "hidden" Verse right off the bat, but more importantly LOOK AT THAT CAT! Awesome cat that can dodge all of Bayo's moves! That's a fun little nod to Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, another game Platinum worked on. For whatever reason, there was a cat in that game that would dodge all of Raiden's sword swings.

(You get another piece of a Witch Heart for beating this Verse, by the way)

Time for a new enemy, Enrapture! Entraptures enrage enemies, working just like Bayo's taunt. They're more aggressive and are harder to stun with attacks, so take these guys out as soon as possible! Afterwards, Loki's got a new trick to show us....and some ominous visions? Is that Loki in a blue hood? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!

Triggering Witch Time to freeze a tidal wave in place is pretty neat and likely would have been an instant-death QTE in Bayo 1...but the real secret lies back where we just were! One of the weirdest Hidden Verses in the game if you ask me...especially as the wave just kinda...disappears once Witch Time ends. Oh well, at least Loki can do it again so we can get across!

Remembrance of Time IS a pretty big deal, isn't it Loki? Shouldn't you be more curious as to how you can do that? He's basically a walking Timeshift Stone from Skyward Sword! As he takes this old building and makes it like new again, we've got a portal to Rodin's shop, and some chests to find! Getting that last chest triggers the Hidden Verse here. These hammer enemies are on display here, and I'm glad I could show off how you ride on them, as well as their hammer Angel Weapon. VERY effective, no? Now you can find a Gold LP here if you go back to the door, which I'll go over now (and you see in the next Chapter anyway...)

Kafka is a bow that fires venomous insects, and the sole projectile-oriented weapon in the game, as well as one of the few hands-only weapons. Kafka seems limited, only able to shoot arrows with every punch button pressed, and it lacks in damage, however, the poison it inflicts slows enemies down a bit and damages them over time, so it can pull its weight.

Kafka is named after author Franz Kafka, and the entire weapon is an allusion to one of the author's works, "The Metamorphosis." In that novella, a man awakens to find he has turned into an insect. Fitting!

Time for another Belief to cap this Chapter off. We'll use Baal, the Empress of the Fathoms! She sure seemed hungry! Man, is it me or did that Belief just let me walk all over it? :P

One last Hidden Verse, a simple one overall. See what happens when you don't get to Enrapture enemies quick enough?! Not that it went THAT bad but still...

So yeah, short, sweet Chapter and I did even better on this run, surprisingly. Sorry this video is a bit off now, due to being re-recorded, but it'll all work out!
