Shupukay was renamed to Spuke. Sounds a lot more English and you can pronounce it less painfully.

I was not perfectly preferred for this battle. Spuke is a spirit boss, and spirits halve all damage that isn't of holy element, and that does include normal non-elemental attacks. Ideally, I should've taken Sten's holy-elemental dagger and Ryu's holy-elemental saber along. I still didn't have many problems with the boss though. Even with the "wrong" weapon, Ryu can still hit for a lot of damage in the front row with critical hits. Nina is especially valuable because Slice is unaffected by elemental properties. Rand and Sten's attacks suffer so they should be the party's healer assuming there is necessity for healing (and there is, because the boss has MT spells and has a counterattack).
