BZCC Total Command Mod Gameplay - Mission DW12: Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch
I don't know why, but the Xbox Game Bar no longer records the game past the loading screen after I installed the 24H2 update for Windows 11, and what is worse, it doesn't even save the clip after having the recording stopped. That's why I'll have to record the rest of this series with OBS Studio, until Microsoft fixes that mess, if it ever happens. This implies some changes, like no longer being forced to stop recording as it doesn't stop automatically at the 2-hour mark, but the clips are much heavier somehow, which might limit my upload frequency because of disk space limitations. Anyway, let's proceed and see what happens.
The Chinese retreated to Ganymede, as the Black Dogs caused some serious damage to their military infrastructure, but they made sure that the Black Dogs platoon that caused the disaster wouldn't be able to follow them by destroying the Elysium Portals. The only hope of the Black Dogs on Elysium to return to Ganymede, was that a small force that remained behind on the Jovian moon, consisting of a small squad commanded by a Sergeant (the player's character for this mission) and an Engineering Team, manage to reactivate a Portal on Ganymede while holding off the Chinese, which were aware that this was a golden opportunity to defeat their foe once and for all. The Sergeant's mission was to hold off the Chinese for long enough to bring back the rest of the Black Dogs forces. After that, something could be done about the Chinese forces in the quadrant.
This mission is quite hard, very faithful to the original version, which was also a major challenge. What makes this mission harder than the original is that the Chinese don't stop attacking you after having the rest of the Black Dogs back, so you have to build your base defenses as quickly as possible.
Will the Seargent's troops endure the incoming Chinese onslaught?
