BZCC Total Command Mod Gameplay - Mission SS14: United We Fight, United We Die
During the last engagement on Titan, the Furies proved to be a far more dangerous enemy for the NSDF that the CCA ever was. Fortunately for them, the CCA came to the same conclusion, so now both factions' only hope to deal with this new, unexpected foe is to put their differences aside, agree to a ceasefire and collect resources to prepare a new Battle Plan, based on the Furies' behavior in combat. Their weaponry, hull resistance and maneuverability outmatch both their American and Soviet counterparts, so the Command of both human factions will have to assess alternative approaches to increase their chances of success. In the meantime, they only know one thing for sure: they need much more Bio-metal than what they currently have in their combined stockpiles.
Having proved capable of faring well against these Alien Machines, Grizzly 1 has been tasked with the resource collection, as well as rallying any American or Soviet squads scattered in the area. More Fury attacks are expected when the mission is underway, so Grizzly 1 will have to trade off wisely the resource saving and the building of solid defenses around both the base and the Deployed Scavengers.
This mission is far harder here than in the original version. Having the scenario set at night, as well as the conditions to "gather the 75 Bio-metal Pieces" turn this mission into a real endurance test. Also, the Fury attacks are much more threatening, as they send waves with more units. In the original version, the Furies only dispatched one of their Flyer Units to attack the Recycler first, and then the Scavenger once the Bio-metal collection started. Nevertheless, that version was far more tedious to play. Overall, this version was a change for the better.
Will Grizzly 1 manage to gather enough Bio-metal before the Fury strikes become unbearable?
