Crazy Taxi Gameplay - Playing It Before Getting Delisted from Steam (Saving the Classics)
I decided to interrupt the current schedule of the channel and play the Dreamcast Collection Classics before SEGA delists them from Steam. The first one I bring is Crazy Taxi, which was originally thought as an Arcade Game, but later ported to the Dreamcast. I recorded this gameplay with the Xbox Game Bar.
The gameplay is very addictive, as you are a Taxi Driver that must pick up the people around that needs a ride (marked with the Dollar Sign) and take them to their destination as quickly as possible, even if that means wreaking havoc everywhere around, running over the people in the way, even potential passengers, and crashing against Cars, Buses and Trucks, and jumping through anything that could serve as a Ramp, among other maneuvers that qualify as "reckless driving". I struggled a little bit with the controls because I never played this before, but I had a great time, despite not doing very well.
I'm not sure if I'll ever turn this game into a series, but in the meantime, the idea is to keep these classics alive by showcasing them. But I can't help wondering... WHY SEGA, WHY???
Also, my apologies for not showing the rest of the "Crazy Box" challenges. This might be an excuse to make at least a second part to this video, but I need to give it another thought. Of course, you can always let me know your opinion in the comments.
There are seven games in the Dreamcast Collection which will be delisted this Friday, but I'll only have time to showcase three of them, this one being the first. I guess I'll proceed to play the other two next and append a mention to the other four in the video of the last game I'll play. I repeat: I guess.
See you in the next video!
