Delving Into Parental Personality Disorders: Insights for Adult Children
89Did you know that a narcissist could also have symptoms of borderline personality and/or a narcissist have many symptoms of antisocial personality disorder?
A lot of people believe that a personality disorder only consists one 1 disorder. For example, you may believe that your covert narcissist mother only has symptoms of narcissism.
But the reality is that she could also have symptoms of:
1. antisocial personality (e.g., a need to isolate away from people, lack of communication skills), and
2. histrionic personality disorder (e.g., the deep desire to be the center of attention and to escalate conflicts beyond what they should be).
