When Narcissistic Individuals Dominate: Unraveling Their Toxic Grip!
198Narcissistic individuals (overt or covert, malignant or vulnerable) can be a very difficult personality to live with.
In fact, I often tell my clients that in order to live with their existence you need to get out of the relationship or put up very clear boundaries.
But when that narcissist is your parent or a family member, things may become more complex.
If that individual has both narcissistic personality disorder and borderline personality disorder, you may find that this individual not only struggles with fear of being abandoned by others, but also struggles with a need for control, competitiveness, and very intense anger.
Research also suggests that individuals who may have 2 or more personality disorders would be considered having a "mixed personality disorder."
