Tried this idea across these few days, the combo with Paine seems to be the most interesting to me.

There are a few things to note about this setup:
1. The stage has more than 1 target
2. I did not choose a boss that is in favour of using Reno:
(a) Boss is not immune to break delays
(b) Behemoth does not always use physical attacks. Sometimes it uses magic.
(c) Neither of the bosses have SPD up/AD down.
The purpose of this is to see how this strategy fares against some normal average stages that you would encounter rather quite often.
3. I don't have any additional self-delay passives on any party members involved.

Goal and Rationale:
The goal is to use every ounce of opportunity to use Reno's HP+ to delay other party members, including the use of BT phase, such that after FR has started, he can continue delaying everyone while they are already much further away on the turn queue.

The problem:
The difficulty of realising this is that Reno spamming HP+ also delays himself outside of BT phase. All that does is putting multiple Reno turns together after the delays.
Since it is an attempt to use BT phase before FR, delaying Reno himself without intervention means you will have to wait for around 6T to get Reno back, which also means the other party members would be halfway on the way back, greatly reducing the efficiency.

Paine BT: acceleration buff
Paine BT's acceleration buff grants anyone with 3 stacks with a consecutive action. It only activates when you attack and consume the stacks, unlike Lunafreya's buffs where you next turn can still be delayed. Paine's granted consecutive turn will always stick right behind the BT phase, unable to be delayed. This gives Reno the chance to use his FR even though everyone else have been delayed.

Key points for setup:
1. Paine's position
Depends on the boss. If you think the boss does not use HP attacks (or it does not matter), or you don't want to have too many people granting excessive stacks, put Paine on the right so the stacks only comes from her actions. The HP silence debuff given out by the 2 members on the left would not matter in this case. Otherwise, both center or left Paine works.

2. Reno's acceleration stacks
Ideally, Reno start BT phase at 3 stacks (or at most 5) such that the BT phase itself procs an additional turn and consume the stacks. It is important to note that he should not be gaining any more stacks during the BT phase, because BT phase counts as 1T. It will only proc once and any subsequent attacks would end up giving your more stacks if Reno can get it. The problem would be that any turns after the use of FR would also proc consecutive action, and negating one self-delay on Reno plus accelerating the consumption of his BT effect duration.

To prevent Reno from gaining stacks, you can:
(a) Swap out Paine.
As long as the stacks remain, the procs still work but the stack gains would be halted.

(b) Put Reno to the left of Paine
People on the left only grants HP silence debuff, and anyone on the right are basically delayed much further behind.

Result:
Most party member would have a "head start" of being delayed by 12T. One additional Reno turn would proc to give you a chance to use his FR. Afterwards, you would most likely see a nice pattern of
A - B - Reno - A - B - Reno ...
for quite some time before you see the others' turns again.

With additional delays from Reno post-BT phase, allies would get delayed further. Also, with a little luck or further setups, you can break + self-delay and push the enemy into stacking up in groups of 3 or 4 after the BT phase.

Advantages:
- practically only Reno's turn remains
- does not take up 7T inside FR just to delay the party
- you can keep whatever valuable CAs/buffs/BT other party members have (e.g. Beatrix's HP+ buff)
- other party members with less DPS does not need attack as much
- probably has a lot of FT left if the counters are strong

Shortcomings:
- as far as I know, this is the way to avoid waiting before using FR. So there is some reliance on Paine if you don't want to waste time.
- uses BT phase
- Reno's BT duration is consumed relatively faster
- very passive play. You must know that you can survive all of the enemy turns. Any debuff that does not have a very long duration may have a problem before you can reapply it.

Further improvements:
1. Get a boss that is immune to break delays
Boss turns simply would not budge. They just stack up together and get entangled together. Also CAs like Cid Raines would be easier to use to rearrange boss turns into a big stack by pulling someone to the front.

2. Put Reno on the left as much as possible
Putting on the left means replacement for Paine is not needed, so you can use this in synergy runs as well.

3. Get both self-delay crystal passives
The additional AD down allows you to delay yourself even more.

4. Find a boss that exclusively melees
Maximum benefit for Reno's FR.
