It is filler mission quest time. As usual they don't scale up to current standards. If you want to use any whacky teams or super old characters (or even just friend support without losing any rewards), now it is the time.

I could have done a tripe FFIV fists for thematic representation, but Ursula is just way too powerful for her own LC now. It would have been over within 5 min.
So I went with triple fists that counters. My Gau has 0 FE, so the charging was a bit slow. Good thing Rubicante can FG charge.

Mission Quest details:
Just a note, there are character lockouts for MQs. This time all quests require 3 of a kind weapon types for completion.
Chaos | Kain IW | 3 swords
Lufenia | Machina IW | 3 daggers
Shinryu | Ursula LC | 3 fists

The thing with using really old characters is that they generally have rather low BRV dmg. With this party, even with Rubicante's enchant and imperil, Gau and Yang have rather low numbers. So I FG charge more than usual such that the boss did not reach further stages of their FG effects, lowering the potential BRV gain and BRV dmg reduction.

My UW fist is on Gau, Yang's is just a cosmetic change from the past because I don't like the claws. Rubi can hold out on his own with a BT weapon.

Also, I double checked again, Rubicante does not have any evasion passive from Shiva and Ramuh. He just happened to have dodge that one attack somehow.

If any GL people are considering Rubicante, Lulu LDCA or Neon is your friend. True fire enchant allows you to use just about anyone with Rubicante's FR. Of course, high AD and counter characters as well. Both Yang and Gau have a two-fold counter/off-turn attack, so naturally they give double the bonus as well.

That's about it, not much to say about an early Shinryu era stage. Good to use old characters again without having to nuke the boss to pieces.
