DFFOO [JP][Act 4 Chapter 4 Part 1][Alt Run] Pre-BT Enna Kros max HP dmg cap with Weiss BT effect
30Since Astos uncap himself and does not work with Weiss, I turned to Enna Kros to witness Weiss BT's effect on maximum hardcapped HP dump attacks.
Since Weiss BT only gives the "generic" 30% party cap up, using Enna Kros FR and Rem BT I only have 130% party cap up. With UW+4, it is a bit sketchy to get Enna to 999,999, so I turned to Ifrit for a bit of extra help.
A word of caution. Since the boss is a bit squishy to be judged by the goddess, you can only see half of her last LD hit getting the additional HP dmg (reminder: additional HP dmg does not show if the target has 0 HP). Slow the video down if you cannot see it lol.
As Enna Kros omega effect does not uncap herself, but rather multiply her cap by a factor, Weiss BT can kick in as long as you are able to hit that new HP dmg cap. Therefore, you can see an extra 998999 adjacent to the 9989990 (actual HP hit). Enna LD has 8 hits, so it would be around 8m extra dmg even launches.
Possible future improvements:
1. Enna Kros BT
2 banners from now, she will be getting her BT. Getting her own cap up, or even just light/dark enchant would free up the summon or CAs to enable launches.
Even some extra BRV/HP dmg up goes a long way. As it currently stands, ensuring Enna Kros hitting all the caps still require a bit of effort. In this run, if Weiss push the boss to 40% while his BT effect is off. Everybody gets debuffed and Enna would not be able to hit the cap on subsequent hits. The same goes for Rem getting her LD buff removed by threshold attacks such that Enna would not have regained enough BRV between attacks.
2. Enna Kros rework
She already can hit the 999,999 with a generic cap up from others. So the dmg scale is already capped with Weiss BT. Though reworks can still add additional hits to net you more HP dmg that way.
3. Crystal Passives
As we finish more crystal quests over time, the more crystal passives we can get. My Enna Kros currently has the white crystal passives that grant chances of instant EX refill (which ironically is what her own LDCA does). So in the event that you want to AOE clear mobs inside her soon-to-arrive BT phase, that would be a lot more EX uses with extra HP dmg from Weiss BT.
On the other side of the spectrum, there is a passives that grants you +2 LD uses on relevant crystal characters. More LD uses equals more devastating and potentially phase skipping ST attacks.
The passive that grants additional HP dmg cap due to low HP maybe useful to her at first, but as more powerful BT effects with higher caps come along, eventually that maybe phased out of use for her.
On a side note, without all these set ups (including the weird extra Weiss echo before BT to avoid untimely BT effect expiration), Enna Kros can one shot this boss from 40ish% with a launch. Over a year old FR character btw.
