20My inability-to-get-LD syndrome has struck once again while getting 2 Queen FR for free at the same time. I would say, Queen's FR/BT are quite enticing (big fan of BRV/HP+/EX users). Though I would still like to know who the new character is on the 28th and early March roster before deciding whether I want to throw resources onto her.
You are about to discover how empty this description page is gonna be, because there isn't really much to discuss for this stage. Even their info page regarding the boss has things that are missing lol.
I would like to call this "use whatever you want and win" fight. Play with your favourite characters and most likely you would still be able to get through it.
It is incredibly easy to even carry a LD-less Queen, so I don't even consider making a ticket run for her.
Boss: Tempest Marilith x2
Force:
+4%: Player action
0%: massive (90% perhaps?) max HP down on player characters
FA: Flashes of Sword++ (guaranteed hit, AOE BRV+HP)
* Always triggers
FT: 20T
All player applied buffs/debuffs have a duration of 1T
* This part is missing in info page, you can only find this in "tips"
Weakness: (cancel FT)
1. FA that deals melee BRV dmg
2. FA that deals dark BRV dmg (exclude enchant and BT phase)
There is no info on what the boss does normally. I guess you can look to the Chaos stage for details. Basically they just does variations of ST/AOE BRV or BRV+HP attacks. Sometimes they do have a series of follow-ups as well.
General thoughts:
I believe they only have 180m HP, which is pretty low by today's standard. So even if you use pre-FR echo era characters, they should be a cakewalk.
The thing with this stage is the 0% FG effect. It lowers your HP by around 90%. So whenever the boss gets a break recovery, you would see purple BRV numbers above them and someone is going to die.
In this day and age there are many ways you can deal with this. Examples:
1. One Raijin LDCA and delay them to oblivion
The only off-turn attack is their FA. As long as they don't reach you, you will always be safe. At the very least I don't see any attack that ignores mitigation or does gravity HP dmg.
2. The immortal Rem BT
You literally can't die with Rem BT. The boss does not have an instant death move, so you will always be safe. Rem BT even heals you at the end of its duration or the fight, so you can't miss the HP requirement with that kind of max HP.
3. Paine BT (debuff) or paralysis
Simply can't kill you if they can't act whenever they attempt to deal HP dmg.
4. Iris BT
Can't deal dmg if they have 0 mBRV (by extension, 0 BRV).
The only other thing is their FT effect. It limits your buffs and debuffs to 1T only. So use the pre-FT phase to refresh and setup all of your buffs beforehand. Avoid using moves that refresh buffs so it does not become a mess when you enter FT and cancel theirs eventually.
In all honesty, the first character I thought of to deal with this is Y'shtola, because she barely has any buffs anyways and can FG charge to your victory.
Note: My Rem has a green crystal passive that gives them a free turn at QS. That's why she starts with 2T.
