Edgar's Loss, Peninsula Trek, & A Large Bell Tolls - Elden Ring pt.37 (2022-03-01)
1Finishing up Castle Morne by defeating the Leonine Misbegotten which had taken the Grafted Blade Greatsword, the treasured sword that Edgar was sworn to protect. Shame the boss didn't actually use it, as it looks to be quite a decent weapon if you have the strength for it.
Unfortunately, Edgar's duty came at the cost of his daughter Irina - she was killed while waiting near the beginning of the Weeping Peninsula.
I spent much of the rest of this session checking out the rest of the Peninsula, and ended up trying to figure out what to do with another one of those Walking Mausoleums (this time, I couldn't just hop on from some nearby vantage point).
Also, interesting seeing stuff like the Ancient Hero of Zamor, who will become a lot more relevant much later in the playthrough.
