I got myself a gold chocobo by using the RNG method, which took a little time, but certainly much less time than racing. So, In this mod, the Quadra Magic, Mime, Mega-All, and KotoR materias are guarded by a boss which you must defeat in order to take the materia out. In this case, the Quadra Magic materia is being guarded by the Quadrangea. This is by far the easiest of the materia cave bosses.


Quadrangea has 25,500 HP, is weak to all elements and has some pretty strong attacks. Honestly, I'm not even sure what this boss is fully capable of. His Bolt3 hits hard, but we can use a Reflect Ring to deal with that, as well as equipping Shinra Beta to halve water damage. His physical attack does around 1,200 damage with Barrier, so we definetly want to try to keep Barrier active here. SInce I have Reflect Ring, I can't use magic so I have to use items for defense and to heal (along with Breath of the Earth). It doesn't take long to kill him with this boss being weak to all elements; even Bolt 2 does over 2k damage to him.
