FIRST IMPRESSIONS: We Got A Nintendo Switch 2 Mock Up To Check Out!
75I don't know about you, but I am super pumped about the Nintendo Switch 2, especially since Pre-Orders will be happening next week. One of the things I've really wanted to be able to do, however, is to check out the Switch 2, to see how it feels in the hand and how it is balanced. Well, we just got a Nintendo Switch 2 Mock Up to check out, on loan from TechMatte, the producers of the amFilm tempered Glass Screen Protector for the Nintendo Switch 2. Let's take a look at the system as I give you my first impressions.

This thing looks fantastic; It's actually bigger than I thought it would be! Compared to my launch Switch OLED it is quite a bit bigger. Even the screen itself is considerably larger. It does have a little bit larger bezel side to side on this larger screen.
It's interesting, I wasn't sure what I would think of this comfort-wise It's actually pretty comfortable. I always thought that the Switch and Switch OLED were not great in handheld mode, I prefer the Switch Lite a whole lot more. But this does feel more comfortable than I was expecting.
The Joy-Con 2s, as a controller, I'm not going to li,e I still hate them. They are better than the original but, especially the right Joy-Con 2 with the position of the analog stick, I just don't like using those as controllers.

I don't know how closely this represents the actual like weight of the Switch 2 but I'm actually impressed at how heavy and hefty this feels as this feels pretty legit.
