This video mostly comprises two demos from pistol start for Map 01 of Going Down, 'Going Up', including one outtake and one successful demo for the challenge of scoring all monsters, items and secrets from a pistol start without taking any damage, a.k.a. 'No Damage Completion'. There is commentary throughout the video, mostly recorded live as I played.
Going Down is a popular Boom-compatible 32-map megawad for Doom 2 completed in 2014 by Cyriak 'Mouldy' Harris and can be downloaded for free from: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/megawads/gd

In this hitscanner hell, the partial invisibility at least makes No Damage play a reasonable possibility, but it was by no means clear when I investigated this map that the powerup offered enough assistance. The zombies released when I use that switch crawl all over the UAC building roof and, with practice, I developed a movement pattern that gives RNG a chance to spare me from being hit.
I didn't even play well overall when making my attempts with commentary, but when I cleared the first part of the map for only the second time, I got the luck necessary to prevent a great deal of frustration.
Cyriak continues to use hitscanners aplenty in later maps, but the player is provided with more powerful weapons in those levels. Let me know in the comments which maps of Going Down you think are possible for Reality play --- I look forward to hearing from you!
