This video comprises one successful demo, one outtake and some assorted clips of training maps for the challenge of completing Ultimate Doom's E1M3 'Toxin Refinery' from a pistol start, scoring all monsters, items and secrets without taking any damage whatsoever, a.k.a. 'No Damage Completion'. There is commentary throughout, mostly recorded live as I played.
Thanks to Coincident for the transparent logo in the thumbnail.

Thanks to Zero Master for guiding me on the possibility of opening the door to the chaingun secret from the adjacent corridor. The trick does not help me to gain access to that secret (and the one to the north-west of it), so it is essential for this No Damage challenge that I was able to become fairly consistent at travelling through the slime tunnel without being hurt.
For years (2019 to 2022) I have looked at that tunnel with frustration and just a little hope of figuring it out --- the new features of Command and Co-ordinate Displays in DSDA Doom helped me get over the line of solving Knee Deep In the Dead's last unsolved Reality problem, given the utter impossibility of UV Max + Reality on E1M9.
The biggest moment was when I realised that it is best to walk into the tunnel before starting to run and SR40 later, because having too much momentum upon attempting entry to the passageway just causes me to bang Doomguy's head on the wall, which might not cause damage in itself, but destroys all momentum. Ironically, walking is much faster.
Until recently (March 2022), I would never have imagined that I could find such a reliable method for the tunnel that I could execute it a little badly and still succeed!
I gave this map 5 stars on the 5 star difficulty scale, but judging how hard it is by 2019 standards ,which is what I usually do, is very difficult (!) because in 2019 I could not have imagined tic counting and using SR40 in this manner.
I introduced the tic counting method for safely traversing short stretches of damaging floor, in its more 'basic' form, in my video of Doom 2's Map 29 'The Living End', available at:

Let me know your thoughts on this John Romero map in the comments. The path to its secret exit was the last such route that I learned for any of the original Doom/Doom 2 levels.
I still haven't decided whether to start individual maps of Thy Flesh Consumed yet, or another Episode challenge for Inferno first. Watch this space!
