Continuing from where we left off...

Once the boss's minions are gone (thanks to Millenia's awesome skill and the Chaos Egg magic), the minotaur is alone. Much like any other boss, he can be interrupted with specials and critical attacks (which is an actual command by the way, not a possibility) and he can even be paralysed with the Zap spell, though the chances aren't too high.

Speaking of Zap, that's the best way of dealing damage to the boss. That's why when a character other than Millenia has a free turn where healing and defending isn't required we restore her MP with the Granas Statue. The description for the item claims that it restores 5 HP (which would make it by far the most useless item ever), but it actually lies, as it restores MP instead. Which is cool, seeing how we lack any other means of getting back lost MP at this point.

Zap is cast, the boss is interrupted and everything goes smoothly when the boss doesn't get to confuse one of the character. If that ever happens, Smelling Salts should be used immediately because confused characters are out of control and may attack your own party randomly. Top priority. I bought 5 SS in the shop before going into the dungeon and I didn't really need more.

When the boss is about to die, Ryudo and Roan are killed off (you can't attack your own characters so you have to wait for the boss to do the work for you), and Millenia finishes the boss off, levelling up twice to lv. 14. She then leaves the party.

Elena then rejoins at lv. 10. Not bad, I guess.


Oh yeah, and if anybody knows how to prevent the sound from being so obnoxiously loud when I'm playing using the TV tuner, I'll be still very grateful because I couldn't find the settings for that anywhere.
