In this episode, covering the entirety of the "Crush Depth", "Vicarious Reality", and "Pit Worm Nest" chapters of the game, Corporal Shephard ends up in a really remote and secret part of the Black Mesa labs, apparently devoted to the cultivation and study of various alien forms of life. In addition to encountering both caged and free-roaming samples of Xen species, Shephard now finds more and more hostile warriors of Race X pouring in as well; fortunately, with the aid of weird new weapons such as the Spore Launcher and the "organic grapple hook" of the Barnacle Gun, Shephard is able to make his way out of the labs and into the waste disposal area, where he has to neutralize another major boss - the acid laser-shooting Pit Worm. From there, it's only a few more steps back to the surface... but life ain't exactly going to get easier in the fresh air.
[NOTE: This is a re-recorded higher resolution version of my original playthrough of Half-Life, with all the latest game patches from Valve as well as some third-party high texture mods and better lighting filters - nothing too drastic though, so as not to compromise the classic style of the game.]

02:30 - Finding a useful scientist to open doors... unfortunately, a short-lived one.
06:15 - Pit drones, ichthyosaurs, and a really unhelpful displacer location.
09:30 - Even more nerve-wrecking ichthyosaur adventures in flooded labs.
14:00 - First encounter with a Race X Shock Trooper and his amazing Shock Roach.
16:00 - Another displacer location and the last contact with ichthyosaurs.
18:00 - "Vicarious Reality" begins: Adrian finds another displacer location.
20:15 - First encounter with the imposing Voltigore monster.
22:50 - Running through strange laboratories and another Xen location.
27:00 - Adrian passes through a weird Black Mesa "vivarium".
31:40 - Discovering and testing out the Spore Launcher.
34:00 - Discovering and testing out the Barnacle Gun.
39:05 - More shootouts with the Pit Drones and Shock Troopers.
42:20 - Passing through a den of Tentacles and finally out of the labs.
45:25 - "Pit Worm's Nest" begins: Shephard drops into the waste disposal area.
47:40 - First encounter with the Pit Worm in person, and another Xen area.
50:45 - Shephard repairs the "GearBox" primary pump by flooding the area.
56:05 - Shephard repairs the "Valve" primary pump and deals with the Pit Worm.
