How to Change Email Address on PS4 & Find your Email (Best Method)
2Changing your email address associated with your PlayStation Network (PSN) account, and finding the one currently linked, is done primarily through the Account Management settings on your PS4, or on the PlayStation website.
How to Change Your Email Address on PS4
You cannot directly change your email address within the PS4's settings anymore. Sony moved this functionality primarily to their web browser interface for security reasons.
To change your email address (Sign-in ID):
Go to the PlayStation Account Management Website:
On a computer or mobile device, open a web browser and go to:
Alternatively, you can search for "PlayStation Account Management" or "PSN Sign-in ID change."
Sign in to your PSN account:
Enter your current email address (Sign-in ID) and password.
If you have 2-Step Verification enabled, you'll need to enter the code.
Navigate to Security Settings:
Once signed in, look for the "Security" tab or section on the left-hand menu. Click on it.
Edit your Sign-in ID (Email Address):
Under the "Security" section, you should see "Sign-in ID (Email Address)."
Click the "Edit" button next to your current email address.
Enter New Email and Verify:
You will be prompted to enter your new email address.
You'll likely need to re-enter your password for security confirmation.
An email will be sent to your new email address with a verification link. You must click this link to confirm the change. If you don't receive it, check your spam/junk folder.
Sign in on PS4 with the new email:
Once the change is confirmed on the website, your PSN account is now linked to the new email.
On your PS4, if you're signed in, you might be automatically signed out. If not, go to Settings Account Management Sign Out.
Then, Sign In again using your NEW email address and your existing PSN password.
