How to Create A NEW USER ACCOUNT ON PS5 (For New Accounts!)
10To create a new user account on a PlayStation 5 (PS5) console, follow these steps:
Turn on your PS5 and ensure the controller is activated by pressing the PS button.
From the home screen, select your profile icon in the top-right corner, then choose Switch User.
Select Add User, then choose Get Started under Add a User to this PS5.
Read the user agreement, check I Agree, and select Confirm.
Select Create an Account. If you have an existing PlayStation Network (PSN) account, you can sign in instead.
Enter the required information:
Date of birth (cannot be changed later).
Country or region (cannot be changed later).
Preferred language.
Sign-in ID (email address you can access).
Password (choose a secure one).
First and last name, and an Online ID (your public username).
Follow the on-screen prompts, selecting Next after each step.
Set privacy settings for sharing, friends, and messages (e.g., Anyone, Friends Only, or No One).
Accept the Terms of Service.
Verify your email address by checking your inbox (or spam/junk folder) for a verification message from Sony and following the instructions.
Optionally, set up 2-Step Verification or add a phone number for security, or select Do This Later.
