Well, it is a Minecraft mod that will allow you to catch Pokemon in Minecraft, train Pokemon, and even battle Pokemon all in Minecraft, so here is how to get Pixelmon Generations in Minecraft.
The first step of getting Pixelmon Generations is actually downloading and installing Forge. You can find our official Forge tutorial in the description above. You will want to download the 1.12.2 version of Forge those as Pixelmon Generations is for the 1.12.2 version of Minecraft. Just go through our tutorial linked above, and you will be get Forge setup. We can then move on to actually adding Pixelmon Generations to Minecraft.
To do this, you need to start off by downloading Pixelmon Generations. You can find the official Pixelmon Generations download link in the description above. Scroll download and click on the blue ‘download’ text under the Download Pixelmon Generations Mod section. That will take you to Mediafire where you can the green ‘download’ button to start downloading Pixelmon Generations.
After you have Pixelmon Generations downloaded, we can learn how to install Pixelmon Generations. This is also pretty simple. Just hit the Windows Key and ‘R’ on your keyboard at the exact same time. This will open up the ‘Run’ application. In the text box in this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. Your roaming folder will then open. In this video, you will have a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that, and you will see a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, just create one. Now, all you need to do in order to install Pixelmon Generations is drag-and-drop it into this mods folder. It’s that easy.
You aren’t completely done just yet though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, select the ‘forge’ version, and then, click ‘Play’. Minecraft will then open up with Pixelmon Generations installed!
