About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to download and install the Essential Mod in Minecraft 1.19.2. This mod allows you to do everything from invite your friends to your single player world to take better screenshots to even customize your character with cool additions and cosmetics.
First things first, we will need to download the Essential installer for Minecraft 1.19.2. You can find a link to the Essential website in the description above. Once you are there, click the ‘Download’ button to be taken to the download page. On this page, click the Windows link/button under the ‘Installers’ section. When you do, Essential 1.19.2 will start downloading.
With the Essential installer downloaded it, double-click on it to open it like any other program. Then, in the installer, click ‘Create New Profile’. Then, name the profile whatever you want and make sure that the 1.19.2 version is selected. It so worth noting that the Forge version of Essential isn’t updated to 1.19.2 at the time of this recording.
With the version selected, click create in the bottom right. Nearly instantly, the Essential mod will be installed in Minecraft 1.19.2. Click ‘Open Launcher’ and the Minecraft Launcher will open.
In the Minecraft Launcher, make sure that you select Essential by clicking the arrow next to the play button, selecting Essential from the list, and click Play. Then, click Pay again, and Minecraft 1.19.2 will open up with the Essential Mod installed!
On the Minecraft main menu, you will be able to see where Essential allows you to switch Minecraft profiles in the top right. You can also go into your Essential settings, add friends, and from in-game, you can hit escape and invite friends to your world after you have adding them allow you to play Minecraft with your friends without a server.
You can also click the folder icon from the settings menu to open up your Essentials Minecraft folder. You can add texture packs, other mods, etc. here. You can also move your singleplayer worlds to this folder in order to play existing worlds with your friends.
