About this video: This video is our in-depth guide on how to download and install plugins on your Minecraft server in 1.19.2. Why would you want to get 1.19.2 plugins on your server? Well, plugins are the best way to customize your Minecraft 1.19.2 by adding in everything from permissions to custom commands to even things like ranks, skyblock, and more. So, without anymore delay, here is how ti add plugins to your Minecraft server in 1.19.2!
First things first, we will need to download our plugins. You can find a link in the description above to a few different plugins that are worth checking out. These will work on survival servers, factions servers, skyblock servers, and any other kind of server you want to create. For this video, we are going to be installing EssentialsX, PlayerWarps, and CoreProtect on our 1.19.2 Minecraft server. This will work for any 1.19.2 plugins though.
Once you have your Minecraft Plugins downloaded, we can install them. Now, you will need a PaperMC server in order to get plugins. You can find our complete guide on how to make a Paper server in the description above. That will cover everything you need to know to get a Paper server setup in order to add plugins.
With your Paper server setup, open your Minecraft server’s directory. You will see a plugins folder. Add the plugins you want to install on your server to the plugins folder. It’s that easy to install plugins on your server.
When you start your server, the plugins will activate. You can check the plugins on your server by running the /plugins command. Green plugins are active and red plugins are not. If a plugin isn’t working make sure you have the 1.19.2 version.
If you go back into your plugins folder, you will see every plugin now has a folder. In these folders are the config files for your plugins. You can customize and change your plugin settings in these config files.
