About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to make a modded Minecraft server in 1.19.2. With this server, you will be able to install Forge mods on a Minecraft server and start playing modded Minecraft with your friends. So, without any more delay, here is how to make a Forger server in Minecraft 1.19.2!
First things first, we need to download the modded Minecraft server files. You can find a link to these in the description above. This will take you to our website. There, click the ‘Download Forge’ button.
That will take you to the official Forge download page. Make sure that 1.19.2 is selected on the left-hand side. Then, click the installer button under download latest. You will be taken to a page where you can click the ‘Skip Ad’ button in the top right and Forge 1.19.2’s server installer will start downloading.
With the installer downloaded, create a new folder on your desktop called ‘Forge 1.19.2 Server’.
Open the Forge installer you downloaded by right-clicking it, selecting ‘Open With’, Java, and clicking Okay. The Forge installer will open up. In the installer, click ‘Installer Server’. A red box will appear. Click the three dots in this box, and select the Forge server folder you created in your desktop.
Then, click Okay. The Forge server files will then start downloading and installing into your Modded Minecraft 1.19.2 server folder.
Once the Forge server files are done installing, you can open the Forge 1.19.2 server folder on your desktop. This is where all of your modded Minecraft server files are located. In this folder, you will find a run.bat file. Double-click this, and your modded Minecraft server will attempt to start. However, it will fail, but a new EULA.txt file will have been generated.
Open this file in notepad. Assuming you agree to the EULA, change the eula=false line to eula=true. Save this file, and close it. Now, double-click on the run.bat file again. Your modded 1.19.2 Minecraft server will start.
Now, it is worth noting that to join your modded Minecraft server, you must be using a Minecraft installation that has Forge installed. You can find our complete guide on how to get Forge 1.19.2 in the description above.
Nevertheless, you can now join your modded Minecraft server in 1.19.2 using the IP ‘localhost’. You are the only person who can join your server using this IP address. For your friends to play modded Minecraft with you, you will need to forward Port 25565 on the TCP and UDP protocol. Then, your friends will join using your public IP.
