About this video: This video is our complete guide on how make a PaperMC Server in Minecraft 1.19.2. Why would you want to host a Paper server in Minecraft 1.19.2? Well, Paper Minecraft servers allow you to add plugins to your server, making them easier to customize and make your own. They also increase your server’s performance, reducing lag and giving your players an overall better experience.
The first step of making a Paper Minecraft server in 1.19.2. Is downloading the Paper server file. You can find a link in the description above to download Paper. That will actually take you to our text tutorial for getting Paper 1.19.2 setup.
Once you are there, click the ‘Download Paper’ button to be taken to the official PaperMC download page. On this page, click the blue download button next to the most recent version of Paper. You may need to keep or save the file depending on your browser.
Now, on your desktop create a new ‘Paper 1.19.2 Server’ folder. Move the Paper file you downloaded into this folder.
Then, right-click in the folder, select new, and then Text Document. This will create a brand new notepad document. Open this document and copy and paste the code from the description above in it. The click file, save as, and name the file run.bat. Also, make sure to change the save type to ‘All Files’.
Next, double-click on the run.bat file you created. Your server will try to start but eventually fail. You have a new EULA.txt file, though.
Open this file, and change ‘EULA=false’ to ‘EULA=true’ if you agree to the Minecraft EULA. Save the file, and double-click the run.bat file again to start your server. You have now made a Paper server in 1.19.2!
