Well, Tinkers Construct is one of the best custom tool mods Minecraft has ever seen. It allows you to create tools used different ores that you must meltdown, cast, and then combine. Tinkers Construct’s system lets you create all kinds of different tool combinations, and you can even create custom tools like hammers that mine 3x3 areas at a time all in Minecraft 1.16.5 with Tinkers Construct. Thus, without any more delay, here is how to download and install Tinkers Construct in Minecraft 1.16.5!
The first step of getting Tinkers Construct is downloading and install Forge for 1.16.5. Forge is the mod loader that allows Tinkers Construct to actually work in Minecraft. You can find our complete guide on getting Forge 1.16.5 in the description above. It goes over every single step of downloading, installing, and setting up Forge 1.16.5 to work with Tinkers Construct and other Minecraft 1.16.5 mods. It even goes over the issues you may have when getting Forge.
After Forge has been installed, we can move on to downloading Tinker’s Construct for Minecraft 1.16.5. You can find the Tinkers Construct download link in the description above. When you click that link, you will actually be taken to our text tutorial on getting Tinkers Construct. This can be great if we go too fast in the video. Once you are on our website though, scroll down and click the yellow ‘Download Tinkers Construct’. That will take you to the official Tinkers Construct download page.
On the Tinkers Construct download page, look at the right-hand side, and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Under that, you will see a ‘Tinkers Construct 1.16.5’ file. Click the orange download button to the right of this file, and the download will begin after a few seconds. You will need to keep/save the file depending on your browser. Then, repeat the above download process for the ‘Mantle’ mod linked in the description above as well. Mantle is required to run Tinkers Construct in 1.16.5.
Finally, we can move on to how to install Tinkers Construct 1.16.5 in Minecraft. This is actually pretty easy. Just press the Windows Key on your keyboard and the ‘R’ key at the same time. This will open the Run application. In this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. This will open up your Roaming folder. In this folder, you will see a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open this folder, and you should have a mods folder. If you don’t, create one! Open the mods folder, and finally, drag-and-drop the Tinkers Construct and Mantle mods you downloaded into this folder. It’s that easy to install Tinkers Construct in Minecraft 1.16.5!
You aren’t completely finished just yet though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, select the Forge profile, click the green ‘Play’ button, click the Play button in the pop-up, and finally, Minecraft 1.16.5 will open up with Tinkers Construct installed!
