These cards add funds to your PlayStation Network wallet, which you can then use to buy games, add-ons, subscriptions (like PlayStation Plus), and more from the PlayStation Store.

Region Lock: PlayStation gift cards are region-locked. The region of the gift card must match the region of your PlayStation Network account. For example, a US gift card will only work on a US PSN account. Check the packaging of your physical card or the email for digital codes for region information.
Method 1: Through the PlayStation Store (Most Common)
This is generally the quickest and most direct way.
From your PS4's home screen, navigate to the PlayStation Store icon (it looks like a shopping bag). Select it with the X button.
Once the PlayStation Store loads, look at the left-hand sidebar menu.
Scroll down the sidebar until you find and select "Redeem Codes."
A screen will appear prompting you to enter the 12-digit voucher code. This code is usually found on the back of a physical gift card (you might need to scratch off a silver strip) or in the email for a digital gift card.
