How to Update Roblox on PC & Laptop
135In this tutorial I show you how to update Roblox on PC and laptop. You can update Roblox by closing the game completely, and reopening it. Once you reopen Roblox it should automatically begin to download. However, this depends on the version of Roblox you have. The desktop version of Roblox should update automatically when opened, while the Microsoft Store version requires you to update Roblox manually.
To update the Microsoft Store version of Roblox you will need to open the Microsoft Store, you can do this by searching for it on the Start menu. Once opened you will need to select Library from the side then Games from the top. Here you will see Roblox, you can press the Update button to begin the update.
If you have the desktop version and Roblox isn’t updating when you open the game then you can uninstall and reinstall the game. To do this right-click on the Start menu then choose Installed Apps. On Windows 10 it may be called Apps & Features. Next, select the search box and type in Roblox, then find the Roblox application and click the three dots on the side. Here you will need to select Uninstall, then Uninstall again uninstall Roblox.
After uninstalling Roblox you will then need to go to the Roblox website and attempt to play a game. This will give you the option to Download the newest version of Roblox. Clicking the Download button will save the Roblox installer file to your PC. Once downloaded you can run the installer file to install the newest version of Roblox.
When you update Roblox on computer the process will take a little while. However, it typically doesn’t take too long. Once done you should be able to play Roblox as usual, without any issues.
