Just Cause 4 (2018) - Every PC F1 Game
4Just Cause 4 by Avalanche Studios/Square Enix, 2018.
I redid this video as the original was too jerky for my liking, and with a graphics card update this now runs lovely and smooth. I've replicated the scenes from the previous video though, with a few caveats (cars disappear if you travel too far away, so there aren't as many in the opening or crash clips as I had planned!).
The Mugello Farina Duo F1-like car was introduced in Just Cause 3. In Just Cause 4 they upgraded it to the Mugello Farina Trio. You win it by taking part in a movie scene in the snow (really!).
The car is largely similar to Just Cause 3, but sports a bigger rear wing. The game, however, now has "in car" views, from the bumper and over the nose, which makes driving a bit easier sometimes!
The car is coloured in less similar colours to real-life F1, presumably to not fall foul of any legal issues. It also still comes with a nitro boost feature!
There are no real-life circuits in the game, so the ones listed below were just what I was aiming for.
1. Race Start (Monza): 0:00 I'm using an airport again here, as there's no road cars in the way! I positioned a few other F1 cars, so it looks more like a race! There's a lot of aircraft fighting in the skies!
2. Spray Effects (Silverstone): 0:30 One of the enemy bases creates a lightning storm, so you're guaranteed a lot of heavy rain around it, which is where I set this clip!
3. Tunnel & View (Monaco): 0:46 There's a couple of small cities in the world, this one has a tunnel too, so I used it for this clip!
4. Wet Track (Spa-Francorchamps): 1:11 Back to the rain-making area for this clip. Note your car always has slick tyres on (as there's no pitstops!).
5. Pitstop (Interlagos): 1:38 As with Just Cause 3, there's no pitlanes, but there are petrol stations!
6. Huge Crash (Montreal): 1:56 This car is tough! It took a couple of attempts to destroy it, which you can see here!
