When performing helmet reset glitch, be sure to be holding the B, A, and Start buttons until you see the Skycutter transformation animation on a black background. This input will have buffered a short jump and the usage of Death Snake until the level completely loads. Duck into the crevice, and almost immediately, you will come across a ninja and a prize block. Grab the clock from this box for a critical time of 5:57, while the Death Snake takes care of the ninja for you. Head now to the right for a few seconds, taking a large jump after collecting the clock to clear the scorpion, and another later to clear a couple of shooter blocks.
At the end of the chamber with the shooter blocks lining the ceiling, there will be an inverted pyramid tiling pattern for the ceiling. At the tip will be a prize block. In the side of the pyramid two spaces to the left is another hidden prize block, and this one contains a clock. The margin of error for collecting this clock is pretty tight, so try to collect it as fast possible for a time of 8:52.
Continue moving to the right afterwards, going straight through the next landform, and then duck to go through the next pyramid-shaped landform. Inside, there will be a telepad, which needs to be taken. Now, the critical time for taking this telepad is 8:49, which is also quite difficult to satisfy. It involves near-perfect movement from the last clock, which includes collecting the second clock as far to the right as possible, and a jump to the telepad that minimizes frame loss. I did both of those tasks fairly well here, so I was able to meet the critical time. This and the previous critical time take many attempts to really nail down the strategy.
After respawning from the telepad, there will be a sh*t ton of enemies ready to charge at you. Right before the first scorpion hits you, use invulnerability and duck, in order to avoid being damaged, and hands grabbing you. Continue moving right, and flip to the ceiling when you come across a pillar of rubber blocks. Move right across this ceiling until coming to a clearing. You want to flip right-side up before coming in contact with the ceiling, such that you land on the small stack of two shooter blocks just beyond the hand. Speaking of which, this hand may or may not grab you. If he does grab you, you should not be damaged, depending on how late you used invulnerability earlier.
Since your invulnerability will have run out by this point, use your second round before colliding with the next scorpion, so as to not be damaged for the rest of the level. Continue moving right as you break through two pillars of shooter blocks, and be sure to jump on the third one to avoid a lone unactivated shooter block. After jumping, you should land right into the flag at a time of 8:36, as long as everything after exiting from the telepad was done smoothly. Unlike the second and third critical times, this last one is pretty lenient.
