All that is required to achieve the max score here is to bust open the four 10000 points blocks throughout the level for a total of 40,000 points. There's no other restrictions - no speed, path, prize, hit, or time bonuses, due to the absence of a flag. Therefore, this video pretty much serves as a walkthrough of where the four blocks are located.
Two of the blocks are located near the beginning, and the other two near the end of the level. All four cannot be opened unless you have a Micromax helmet. The only way to bring a Micromax helmet to this level is if you manage to carry it all the way from Ice God's Vengeance... through Beneath the Twisted Hills *and* Elsewhere 27 without losing it! Due to the blocks' difficulty in being reached, getting the highest score on this level is much harder than other levels that have only 10000 points blocks for score (The Black Pit and The Hills Have Eyes).
I recorded this level without getting hit once, in order to show how to keep Micromax through the whole thing, and ensure all 40,000 points could be collected. Take note of each time I duck or come to a stop in my video. It usually means I'm waiting for an enemy to get out of my way, or move into a favorable position, such that I can get past it without taking a hit.
