Lets Build Twitter From the Ground Up: Episode 236 || Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and React
Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.
In this episode we finally turn our attention back to the edit media modal which was the entire point of this refactor in the first place. We start out inside of the EditMediaSlice where we add in some need state and reducers to assist us in editing our post images. Then we head over to the edit media modal top component where we need to set up the ability to switch between different tabs depending on what we are attempting to achieve. After we setup this logic, and html, we went into the CSS to style it, then back into the edit media modal to update it to be able to switch between editing images and adding descriptions or warnings. Finally, we attempted to test this out, however, we had to hop back into the code because we forget to finish setting up the configure modal that opens up the image to be edited, and we also ran into some other issues that we did not have time to debug in this episode.
