After what seems like a near century wait (it was really only about 5 years), the newest Make A Good Mega Man Level (MAGMML for short) has been released! I've decided to get on this as soon as possible before I start getting spoiled on the entries. I'll be playing through the levels and reading the reviews along the way and giving some thoughts on each of the levels in the description. Feel free to follow along...

We make a nice dent in Tier 7 here, which is surprising considering how it started. Oof... some quality levels here though...

Fairly Unfocused Newcomer's Bosses And Gimmicks Stage - No. Just No... I admire some things about this level (the shortcut to the split is a HUGE welcome), but most of this is just rough. It's not hard, but it is completely unnecessary in length even with the shortcut. Also that one Token can seriously go toss off. This encompassed most of the first half of the video. There's no reason for it.

The King's Lair - On the other side of the coin. We have the best level yet! Granted the reason is due to the time penalty (25%), but still, it is welcome. This would've placed much higher otherwise (my math brings it to 66.6/100).

Wily in space (Roll's rescue) - I mean, if anything Roll is rescuing you in this one. I expected her to be the boss with the way she keeps jumping ahead of you. This was another that went longer than it should. Unlike Shape Woman though, this one is just a generic aesthetic with "okay" use of gimmicks.

Chemical Industry - We got some TMNT music here. I like how I knew what it was despite not even playing the game. The boss music confirmed that for me (never would've guessed Contra for the second one though). This level was interesting and I like that there was a shortcut if you knew it was coming. Of course I thought the sewer was the best part of the level, so avoiding it made no sense. Would've liked to see tokens here. Seemed like a missed oppurtunity.

Outer Reaches - Love the Gemini Man edit. Beyond that, this is just a generic forgettable stage. Likely due to the tokens being frontloaded. Another one I forgot existed once I beat it.

Arcade Archives - Fun stage while it lasted. Some clever use of gimmicks too. Not much else to say here.

Hazard Hydro - See Arcade Archives. I'm stunned I got the token on the first try though.
