We now come to the second stage in my order, probably one of my favorites. This is Cloud Man's stage, which, as would be expected, takes place high in the sky. It has nice music, the scenery isn't too shabby either, and it takes a good number of elements from Air Man's stage in Mega Man 2...including the infamous Pipis. BIIIIIIIIIIRRRRDS!! The most noticeable gimmick with this stage, though, is probably the weather. The skies are clear at the start of the level, but there are two enemies that will change the weather when hit. The first one will make it rain, and the second one will either do nothing if it's already raining, make it rain if it isn't, or make it snow if you hit it with the Freeze Cracker. The weather doesn't seem to affect much (well, except my video size...), it's just kind of a nice scenery effect. Ah, the things you can do when you have three background layers to work with. There is one section where your visibility is lessened when it's raining, but I don't think the platforms are slippery when it's snowing. There is also a small part of the level that is inside a building of some kind. Also, I didn't mention it during the video, but the pit enemies will only use their lightning bolt attack if it is raining or snowing, not when it's clear. And speaking of lightning bolts, obviously, at the end of the stage, you must fight Cloud Man. He hovers above the ground on his cloud and throws lightning bolts at you, which split into spherical sparks upon contact with the ground. He can also summon a storm, which will create rain, lightning in the background, and wind that will either push you left or right. Those are his only real attacks, although he can fire the sparks when it is raining as well. Beating him gives you the Thunder Bolt, a simple but effective weapon. It shoots out a ball of lightning straight forward that does a decent chunk of damage and can be used to power certain machines in one stage (I think there's only one where you can do that). The only special item in the stage isn't really hidden, although it will be significantly easier to see if it's snowing rather than raining. Interestingly, I seem to have gone through this stage without taking any damage, a feat that I assure you was an accident.
