Let’s Play Ravenloft Strahd’s Possession #13: A Reward Far Greater than Gold
262This is my first playthrough through this game. Kindly avoid posting spoilers in the comments or solutions to puzzles either in this video or future ones so as not to spoil the experience for me or those that haven’t seen the game before.
With the lesser catacombs as explored as they’re going to be, it’s time to return the holy symbol to the aged paladin. While doing a good deed is reward in itself, I’m not going to say no to the very powerful equipment that he’s going to offer us in return for our service. I can’t say whether they’ll be the most powerful blades we’ll come across in the game but they’re a huge step up from what we have right now.
Before we go back to exploring the village, it’s best that we get a bit of inventory management out of the way. With not limited space for items and encumbrance to consider, we should only really take the things we’ll need in immediate future with us. We can’t sell our unwanted equipment – there’s no shop in town and no part of the UI devoted to money – so I’m going to pick a place to dump down things I might need later and what better place than the paladin’s home? He’s managed to hide his gear up until now and I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to do the same for our stuff while we’re off adventuring.
