Long has the Avatar been away from Britannia, having set sail for the Serpent Isles in pursuit of Batlin alongside his most trusted companions. All appears to have been quiet since his departure, the people of Britannia enjoying a prolonged peace that did much to remove the memories of the Fellowship and their efforts to deliver the world unto the Guardian, a terrible despot intent on ruling the world.

Evil does not rest however and rarely does it scheme in the open. While the Avatar is trapped in Pagan – a plight that none in Britannia are aware of – the Guardian has been taking the first steps in his invasion of the world the Avatar is sworn to protect. He seeks to corrupt the very lands and people of the world, turning them from the virtues and against those that would seek to save them from the Guardian. Without the Avatar, will the people of the world be able to withstand the final assault of their greatest foe?
