Max Payne 3 - glitched Pause-menu effects (Chapter 2)
It's a cool glitch that causes all sorts of different things to happen.
0:00 - first of all, here's a nice exploit that lets you assassinate Marcelo (almost).
If you had buffered a glitched Pause-menu in the background at the transition between Chapter 1 and 2, there's a chance the Pause-menu suddenly pops up and interrupts loading before the Chapter starts proper. In other circumstances this works as alt. Checkpoint 0 glitch, but here there is seemingly no way to stop the game from loading the rest of the level. But during the short waiting period, you can see Marcelo pop up in t-pose nearby and try to shoot him. It doesn't work.
0:20 - retrying from glitched Pause-menu during bullet time effects usually causes color flashes or similar upon retry.
0:36 - intro reset at Chapter 2-2. Lets you see Max smash through the window from a neutral camera angle.
0:47 - intro stretch at Chapter 2-4. Basically the intro is delayed for tens of seconds, during which time enemies may stand around passive and you typically can't control Max.
1:08 - failure cutscene delay at Chapter 2-5. I thought this looked interesting.
1:45 - intro stretch at Chapter 2-6. Max is able to move while the intro is being delayed, but it's impossible to shoot at enemies while the camera is held locked in place like this. Not sure if it would result in anything interesting if you reached the next cutscene like this... it's somewhat hard to navigate there without sight.
2:17 - intro reset at Chapter 2-7.
2:25 - intro stretch at Chapter 2-7. Renders the set piece unwinnable, but things return to normal after retry.
2:56 - intro reset at Chapter 2-13. The bullet time activates relatively early like this, making it impossible for Max to shoot the rocket in time.
3:13 - intro stretch at Chapter 2-13. This also renders the set piece unwinnable, to say the least.
3:29 - if you retry glitched using regular Pause-menu here, you are able to retry from the menu instead of getting softlocked at the end. This results in some drastic high saturation once gameplay continues, but only for a short moment.
3:45 - if you retry during the intro, it becomes glitched up. The bullet time starts way too early once again, preventing Max from shooting the rocket flying at him. Not only that, but the same thing will happen from now on every time you retry... have to quit the game to fix this.
4:04 - retrying as the explosion starts or a little later on into the explosion also gives some nice color effects.
