Max Payne 3 - Max the Automaton

Perhaps Branco industries created this robotic copy of Max to act as an extra bodyguard for the family. After all, the real Max can't be everywhere at once. Unfortunately their new creation still has a few kinks in its behavior...
This video is to explain the new findings surrounding Continue Glitch. It also shows how the glitch where Max rotates in place becomes started.
The original Continue Glitch was this: if you Continue into Chapter 6-2, then quit, then go into most other Checkpoints in the game, you get a myriad of strange effects, ranging from glitchy ambient lighting to Max spawning without a gun.
But it turns out you can also do Continue Glitch with any Checkpoint that you can glitch up using Checkpoint 0. Yes: if you start Checkpoint 0, then Continue into a Checkpoint that becomes affected, then quit and load another Checkpoint... you get a similar result than with original Continue Glitch. Except the results are unique depending on where you Continued into...
So basically this means there are theoretically over hundred different variations of Continue glitch now... producing unique effects at over hundred different Checkpoints... *head explodes*
So far I had a blast testing Chapter 2-7 continue glitch. It enables Max to get the rifle MINI-30 from the Chapter 2 helicopter section into the main game and use it wherever. Well... admittedly there are some side effects.
0:00 - doing Chapter 2-7 continue glitch at Chapter 2-3. Things look normal at first and Max starts with a cool rifle.
After the intro Max suddenly becomes stuck in place and his arms get contorted around the rifle. It's impossible to shoot at enemies like this, but LMS will knock Max loose. After falling down, Max is unable to either stay prone or stand up, so he starts flailing around wildly, eventually settling down into another stuck pose. Eh, at least now he actually hits enemies... Oh yeah, and the frame rate takes a hit by all this for some reason.
1:05 - if you retry, something similar but still different happens. Max is able to turn around and rotate in place as his arms are glitched to hold on the rifle. Can't really shoot at enemies, but again, LMS knocks Max loose, for better or worse.
After LMS, Max starts rotating in place uncontrollably. It just looks so ridiculous that there are no words for it. He is also immortal.
2:35 - doing this glitch at Chapter 2-4. Max suddenly materializes on the helipad where he'd normally go at the very end of the level. He is stuck in place with glitched arms once again. You are able to do a single action (going prone, shootdodge, etc.) before he gets stuck in place for good. So choose wisely!
2:56 - going prone. Max doesn't like it and instantly springs back up again.
3:11 - shootdodging. Again, Max can't stay prone and can't quite stand up either so he continues bouncing on ground for a while. Only then will he get stuck in place again.
3:38 - Max the Automaton chooses to end his glitchy robotic existence by leaping off the rooftop. Farewell, Max the Automaton! Your determined, slow spinning will always go on in our hearts.
