Continuing our trek through Turtle Rock from the last part, we finally come across the obstacle that requires us to whack the color switch right after the mid-boss, so I go and hit it and obtain the treasure that was hidden behind the mid-boss, the Magic Rod which allows us to get past certain obstacles we couldn't before, like the torch puzzle which hides a small key, or the ice blocks in the 2d sections.

Using the key we got, we arrive at one last mid-boss in the dungeon, and my fight against this guy was just an all around disaster. I kept using the pegasus boots but couldn't jump which led me into falling into the lava multiple times, I'm clearly missing something against this guy cause even when I first fought him in Angler's Tunnel, the most I could do was try and outrun him so that I caught up to his back. Eventually you see just how much this fight devolves into me just finding some way for him to show his back to me instead of me trying to get behind him.

We've already cleared out most of the dungeon in the last part, such that the nightmare key was the only thing i'm still missing in this dungeon, getting said key we just go straight to the boss, Hot Head, who is a boss that only takes damage from the Magic Rod. Everything that needs to be said about the boss is shown in the video, since he can only be hurt by the magic rod, it's the only thing you can use in the fight to get past him.

Beating the boss, we finally obtain the last instrument we need to wake the Wind Fish, and the voice tells us to head to the Egg on Mt. Tamaranch. Which I end up ignoring in favor of looking for heart pieces and secret seashells.

I also solve the riddle of the book talking about colors, and sure enough the clue in the book lead to a dungeon, the Color Dungeon which I traverse through. In the dungeon contains some puzzles that involve having all the switches in the room be a specific color, the dungeon also contains a few mid-bosses that are only present in that dungeon. Getting to the end of the dungeon and beating the boss, we come across the fairy queen who then gives us the power of color, which we can choose either red or blue. The color we pick will have her give us the red mail which improves your damage dealt to enemies or the blue mail which lowers the damage taken from enemies. I chose the red mail which at least allows me to take out enemies faster.

After getting through the color dungeon, I wonder as to whether I continue looking for pieces of heart and secret seashells before going to the egg or just go straight to the egg, I decided on the latter and chose to relegate the rest of the missing items to bonus videos if I decide to make them.
