In a sense, Samus could be her own greatest foe, as powerful as she gets each game, she could be considered unstoppable in the face of others; SA-X definitely is an interesting surprise to this game. This is likely later adopted into Metroid Prime trilogy with Dark Samus, her other doppleganger, though not as authentique a duplicate as SA-X.

Serris is more fast than brawny, so don't be too concerned if he rams you once in a while. But for the most part, you only get one shot at him before he re-activates his speed boosted form. Serris does have a blind spot near the entrance that he can never reach or attack (unless in Core-X form). In the breeding tank, I find it odd that after it became infected, it somehow shed it's entire skeleton...

There is a missile tank underwater, but without the gravity suit, the trip would only serve to waste time.
