Pariah with 3D spatial sound (OpenAL Soft HRTF audio)

This is a demonstration of Pariah with OpenAL Soft's HRTF using the IRC_1058 tables. You can get this sound in almost every Unreal Engine 2/2.5 game by replacing the built-in "DefOpenAL32.dll" with the 32-bit soft_oal.dll renamed to match. Or, you could replace the 32-bit OpenAL32.dll in /Windows/SysWOW64 instead and set UseDefaultDriver=False. See links below for more detailed instructions.
I've honestly never heard of this game until a few weeks ago and I can see why. It's basically just Unreal II meets Far Cry 1. Hell, some of the sound effects are just recycled from Unreal II wholesale like the Grenade Launcher. There's nothing really special about this game. Generic weapons, janky gunplay, huge crosshairs, limited sprinting, Riddick-style segmented health regen; aside from the weapon wheel, it's basically a sign of what was to come 2 years later. Still, it has the same fantastic soundscapes as the other UE2 games and this demo level made for the perfect binaural audio demonstration. Pariah is one of those games that's just begging for a GOG re-release.
