Pocket Fighter - Sega Saturn - Intro & 1CC Ryu Arcade Playthrough with Akuma Fight & Running Battle
Flawless 1CC no round loss gameplay longplay, playthrough, walkthrough, guide & trueplay video of Pocket Fighter / Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix as Ryu. Which features the hidden Akuma / Gouki fight and shows the extra Saturn Running Battle / Survival mode. While both Dan and Akuma / Gouki can be selected from the start as playable characters, they won't appear in the fighting order by default, instead they will pop up as an extra fight once you reach fight seven. Akuma is the harder of the two bonus fights to unlock.
After the enjoyable Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, we finally got to fight it out with these mini chibi versions of Capcom's characters. Interestingly this is the only way Saturn fans could even play as a character from Street Fighter III (Ibuki) or Red Earth / Warzard (Tessa / Tabasa). The game really is a love letter to Capcom's video games with it being full of Cameos from various titles including, Gun.Smoke, Son Son, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mega Man Legends, Darkstalkers, Breath of Fire, Plasma Sword and more!
The game uses a simple but very enjoyable fight system, flash combos and the gem power up system. Allow for an easy to play one on one fighter that anyone can pick up and master.
The Saturn version supports the 4MB RAM cartridge to give it a near perfect arcade port. While the English arcade version was known as Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, when it got a home console release on PlayStation in English, they kept the Pocket Fighter name, it just sounds so much better. This video was captured using the 4MB cartridge.
