The rematch against Mars at Lake Verity sees her evolve her Zubat, pay homage to the tradition slowly becoming tiring which is including Bronzor on her team, while holding on to her signature Purugly, whose level is now finally (and barely) appropriate to its evolution stage, unlike the first time we fought it (16 is fairly far from 38, I would say).

I'm not sure if there's much strategy involved in Mars' new team, compared to, say, Saturn having a Rain Dance Kadabra that somewhat synergizes with the rest of his team - at least the intention is there, as you can't really count on Kadabra to remember to use the move, or expect Bronzor to be hit by fire-type moves (though Infernape does remain a popular starter for a reason), or Toxicroak to survive a for a lengthy enough time for its Dry Skin to be in effect.

One thing you may notice from glancing at her team's sets is that both Golbat and Purugly run U-Turn, meaning you might be frustrated if you decide to take on lead Golbat with a psychic and fail to OHKO it before it moves. With our lv. 22 Alakazam at a whopping disadvantage of 15 levels, that definitely was not a pitfall I was about to fall into.

Instead, Pelipper, who you may have got used to by now, functions as our rain-setting lead, helping us deal with Bronzor later. With Mystic Water, it 2HKOs Golbat providing the latter doesn't U-Turn away (usually done on the first turn if it does occur).

Purugly will come in next. Our underlevelled Guts!Machamp, perhaps THE hero of the run's midgame, can, in fact, OHKO its mark with a single second priority Revenge but only if it gets attacked. As Purugly likes to Growl at your fighting-type counters instead, this matchup may take anywhere up to 3 turns to complete.

If we're not misfortunate, Golduck should switch in and OHKO Bronzor with a Specs-boosted Hydro Pump under the rain. If Purugly took more than two turns to defeat, Golduck will fall a tiny bit short.

Nothing that poses any danger to us here, as you can see.
