It was a good opportunity, after coming back to the Laundromat from helping Zulu at the School, to go out again while there was still time before the next Emission and there was plenty of daylight left. For that reason, I wanted to check out the strange anomaly where there was a green glowing Poltergeist going up and down the upper section of a massive vine tree. It was north-east of the School and across the boulevard west of the River Port.

When I left the Laundromat, I checked across the way to the west but did not see any Bloodsuckers this time. Taking the safe back street to the north, I carefully approached the Hospital from the south and once again found another Chimera feasting on the remains of the dead Monolith. I guess the smell wafts over the whole city, attracting them here. I cut through the Hospital and crossed the boulevard and then went north next to the large apartment buildings.

I heard the squeak of rodents and soon a pack ahead of me and was able to shoot three of them while the fourth escaped. I soon arrived at my destination and quickly realized the hard way that an anomaly field of Burnt Fuzz was in a pit below the tree, where I found a Firefly artifact. This is only the second one I have found in the Game but on the other hand, I stopped being an artifact hunter once I found an example of all of them and got the Achievement. As I have never sold any of the artifacts I have found ( except the Compass ) I never needed them to make money.

The pattern of the green glowing Poltergeist or Gas Cloud, I was uncertain if it was a living being, repeated the same pattern up and down, back and forth that I studied to try to find a way to slip in and get to the top. It appeared the top of the vine went to two different apartment buildings but only one of them went to a balcony of an apartment and that was my goal to investigate what I could find. I fell in the first attempt and had to try again, making it to the top in my second effort.

The tree and vines were hard to walk on and were not an even flat surface going from one section to another. I barely made it into the apartment with the green Poltergeist hot on my trail. Inside the apartment I found a medkit, a bandage, vodka and in the corner a PKM and 400 rounds. It was a nice view, even if it was very restrictive to the north and east. It did have a good view of the School though, and I was able to shoot several more rodents and a Zombie through a window inside the building.

I looked at the time and saw there was not much daylight left so I decided to go. However, this time I tried a different pattern going down and was a lot more successful in having plenty of time on my descent. I made my way carefully through the Burnt Fuzz anomaly field at the bottom and quickly made my way south down the boulevard and past the Hospital. Sure enough another Chimera was there, and I zapped it on my way back to the Laundromat. It was good to be back among others.
