After several back-and-forth trips from Pripyat to Jupiter, I had gone to Zaton to pick up my GP-37 I had forgotten the last time I was here, and since I had left all my weapons back in Pripyat, I grabbed the special shotgun that Trapper had given me, and I thought I would take my Vintar BC too. The Vintar has the identification feature on its scope that identifies friends or foes, something that I love to have on my AN-94 but I can't buy a red scope in Call of Pripyat unless I get Friend of Duty.

As it was night, there were a lot of passing Zombies and you could see in my Mini-Map when I was aboard the ship, the infrared scanner detecting them passing outside. This would be very useful for the upcoming X-8 Lab, since the building above it had multiple floors and was full of Zombies and angry Monolith. It was probably the largest concentration of Monolith and the most dangerous objective found in Pripyat. It was coming very soon.

However, for now I was just enjoying a little time in Zaton with daylight coming up slowly and realizing that this could very well be my last visit before the Evacuation. Of course, I'm going to make a Manual Save at the end of the Evacuation at the helicopter. Then I'm going to climb aboard and end the Game with the cinematic of what happens to everyone and everything. Afterward I can load the same Manual Save, decline going onboard and stay behind for Free Play for as long as I like.
