SGC18: Anna Jenelius - Saying that which is hard to say
This talk will feature the nuts and bolts of making a game with politically charged content at its core – specifically focusing on the narrative design and the writing. It will propose methods for finding your question, doing research, weaving the theme into your story, etc. The attendee will leave with new insights into how, in practice, to make a game that could change the world.
About Anna Jenelius:
Anna Jenelius is a seasoned game developer and speaker, with a passion for making the world a better place with games. She got her first taste of the games industry in 2011, only to join it properly a year later, as a QA Tester at Paradox Interactive. After a few years under their roof, she started her first company Talecore Studios in 2015. A couple of years as a solo indiedev and freelancer later, she founded Valiant Game Studio, of which she is the CEO and Creative Director.
