Soya has such incredible energy, just that ultra-confident response delivered with such power, she’s so good. Rene is right that her charisma is incredibly attractive, and Soya is right that she's hilarious, and even more importantly, that she really treasures her fans so much. This is my first clip of a collab and I have not watched that much of Rene either which makes it more on the challenging side, so as always I appreciate good feedback/suggestions/etc.

0:01 “Oshi,” literally “support,” is a term used to refer to someone’s favorite idol, vtuber, character, etc. “To make someone your oshi” is linguistically derived from “to support someone,” but picking or changing your oshi (when it comes to vtubers at least) is a big deal and not something that should be done lightly. The Japanese grammar suggests that changing your oshi away from someone is doing something to them and is phrased literally like “if I was oshi-changed…”
1:16 Soya is very inconsistent with first-person pronouns, and I want to note this because the way she uses a nickname as a first-person (sometimes) is worth mentioning and while I’m here I might as well explain the rest, too. The first-person pronouns she switches between in this clip are:
Soya: Her nickname and generally her usual first-person pronoun (sometimes...), “Soya” is different from her family name’s normal pronunciation of “Souya,” although she’ll often just pronounce that as “Soya” anyway. She changed her first person pronoun from “Ichika” to “Soya” so that people would call her Soya because it’s easier to egosearch.
Watashi: Very common first-person, generally considered a good default. Leans slightly formal and slightly feminine.
Atashi: Lazy way of pronouncing “watashi,” more casual and more feminine.
