To those of you wondering: Yes, she’s like this all the time.

Gushing:
Well, I hope this is a good introduction for people to Ngo’s kirby series and maybe even to Ngo in general. She can and will keep going like this for HOURS at a time, she’s unstoppable. And her kirby series is such a beautiful and ridiculous adventure, I love her so much. The whole time I was making this, I just couldn’t stop laughing.

Usual disclaimers:
I make these clips in large part to practice my not so great Japanese. My friend Cherem helps me with them which I really appreciate and makes them a lot better. I like to leave detailed translator’s notes to provide extra explanations and help people understand why I chose to translate certain things in certain ways.

Timestamp to make it so youtube doesn't interpret my TNs as “chapters”: 1:53

Translator’s notes:
Disclaimer for all Ngo clips: It’s Ngo which means she talks at 500 miles an hour about very ridiculous topics. Please expect some natural degree of uncertainty and for the subs to be way too fast to read comfortably.
0:33 It’s “Selene Girls School.” It has always been Selene Girls School. If you zoom in on her actual model you can even see it on her armband. Don’t be fooled! https://twitter.com/Suo_Sango/status/1303127081618817024
0:42 Ngo is parodying a high-schooler here, “egechii” is JK slang for “egetsunai” (‘dirty,’ ‘nasty,’ etc) and I’m assuming “eguchii” is just the Ngo version/mispronunciation, but it may also be related to “egui” (literally “harsh” or “acrid” but ends up meaning whatever you want it to from terrible to amazing when used as a slang term, similar to “yabai”). Either way, though, same idea in this context: Do not want. (You could also use “eguchi” (single i) to mean “lewd,” I guess.)
Also, for those unfamiliar, let me explain the rules for this arc of Ngo’s Kirby series: She is not allowed to kill enemies (or even let them die on-screen, she is required to “Schrödinger them” (her words) by having them die just barely off-screen) or to pick up items (food), for the sake of environmental conservation and animal protection.
0:56 Ngo referring to Acro the Orca as a “Murder Jaws” and “Murder Shark” has, as far as I know, nothing to do with the English term “Killer Whale.” There are several terms for an Orca in Japanese, none of which reference anything about “murder” or “killer.” Ngo identifying him as a murderer comes from the fact that he spits skulls at you. I also want to point out that “jaws” in Japanese gets used as a generic term and any man-eating shark can be referred to as ‘a jaws.’ But that still makes “murder jaws” a ridiculous and redundant term.
1:05 “Namachoco” is a Japanese type of soft chocolate mixed with cream and liquor related to the French “ganache” but with slightly different proportions of cream and water.
1:12 I believe what she’s referring to by “the current era” is really the current season, in that this stream took place in August, as opposed to February.
1:29 This makes slightly more sense in Japanese because there is no V in their syllabary, so foreign loanwords containing a V sound are represented by the Japanese equivalent of B (hence her pronunciation of what she reads as “canvon” like “canbon”).
1:40 This part is made extra funny by the fact that this BGM is famous in Ngo’s kingdom Niconico Douga for its use in otoMADs, a type of meme music video she loves (“oto” being Japanese for “sound” and “mad” being English for “crazy”).
1:44 Rather than the usual TN for Ngo’s usual first-person being “Ngo,” I’ll point out here that she’s using the quite formal and feminine “watakushi” to try and make herself sound very mature and professional. But then… lol.
